The Lazy Girl Body Care Routine

We all know the importance of a solid body care routine to keep our skin healthy and glowy. However, if you’re anything like me, the idea of layering five different products after a shower feels… exhausting. That’s why I created this perfect lazy girl body care routine — minimal effort, maximum results. This guide is perfect for busy students, new moms, or girls that are just pure lazy (me haha). These products are easy to use, feel luxurious, and actually work (bonus: some of them are multi-use!).

Step one: The Easiest Body Wash Ever
Forget harsh soaps that strip your skin. A good body wash should cleanse, hydrate, and smell like a dream — all in one step. My personal favorite is the L’occitane Almond Shower Oil. This oil-based body cleanser transforms into milky lather upon touching water and leaves your skin moisturized before you even reach for lotion. It’s also perfect for washing off body sunscreen without drying you out. Once I started using this, I never went back.
Step two: Skip Lotion — Use This Instead

If you hate standing around waiting for your lotion to dry, the Hanni Splash Salve might be the key to all your problems. It’s an in-shower body balm that hydrates your skin while you’re still in the shower. All you do is lather the balm all over your body as the last step of your shower, then rinse it off and you are left with the most beautifully hydrated skin – no need for extra lotion or body oil! (unless you want to of course 🙂

Step three: Low Effort Exfoliation

Dry brushing, body scrubs, chemical peels… All these exfoliating products and routines are nice but time-consuming. If you have no time, you really only need to exfoliate 1-2 times a week — and that can be easy with the right product. I’ve been obsessed with the Skinfix Resurface+ Glycolic Renewing Scrub. After seeing reviews raving about this scrub claiming it helps make your skin glow –  I knew I had to try, and it did not disappoint. This scrub leaves me feeling so smooth, yet it is gentle enough for my sensitive skin. Another scrub I’ve been loving is the KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub by First Aid Beauty. This is perfect for those who have “strawberry skin” on their legs.

Step four: Extra Hydration

Sometimes, your skin needs a little more moisture — especially in winter or after shaving. These products add hydration without the sticky or heavy feeling – and they are quick and easy to use! First, the Hanni Water Balm is a weightless mist that hydrates like a lotion. It is so easy to use – all you do is spray it all over your body and rub into your skin. As a lazy girl, this makes moisturing so quick and so convenient – especially in the morning. For a little extra moisture, the L’occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil is a spray on oil that improves the appearance of stretch marks and softens skin.

Step five: For When You Want to Feel like That Girl

Whether it’s because you’re going on a date, hanging out with friends, or just want to romanticize your Tuesday night routine — we all love a little moment of luxury. These products are extra in the best way: they smell divine, give your skin a glow, and make you feel like the main character — without adding any work. Recently, I’ve been addicted to the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil. This is luxury in a bottle. It smells absolutely divine (think a a beachy, creamy, sun-soaked dream), and the best part is it adds the most beautiful sun-kissed shimmer to your skin. Another favorite of mine is the Sol de Janeiro GlowMotions Glow Oil. This oil gives a gorgeous, healthy, radiant looking glow to skin. Bonus: it’s lightweight, non-greasy, and easy to apply with your hands or a brush.

And that’s it! Your perfect lazy girl body care routine.
